How to contact us

Send a message in our Web Service

A simple and safe way for customers to contact us is to send us a message through our Web Service. You can log in to the Web Service using the banking codes of major Finnish banks.

You will receive a response within 48 hours. If you wish, we can also send you an email notification when you receive new messages in the Web Service.


The Chat function is available weekdays from 9 am until 4 pm. You will see the Chat window on the bottom right-hand side of the page whenever a customer service agent is available.

In the Chat you can discuss our services and ask for advice, for example, on how to claim compensation. For security reasons, we cannot take care of personal contractual matters in a Chat discussion, but you can log in to our Web Service or have us call you.

If you are sending a claim form abroad, please take care to observe the postal charges in the country you are sending the claim from.

When retirement approaches

When your retirement is around the corner, we will send you a notice that your pension insurance will begin six to eight weeks prior to your retirement. At that point, you can either begin drawing your voluntary pension insurance or you can postpone its starting date. If you decide to begin drawing your pension, you can also change the monthly amount of your pension.

Have you moved?

Private customer

You do not need to report a change of address to Mandatum Life or Kaleva if all of your insurance-related mail is sent to your home address. Once you have reported a changed address to the Population Register Centre, we will automatically obtain your new address from there.

Corporate customer

By using the contact form, you can report a changed address through your own contact person or by calling our Customer Service on 0200 31100 (lnc/mpc).


If you move abroad, if your address is confidential or if you have decided to use a postal address that is different to your normal address for a single contract, the new address information will not be updated automatically. In this such instances, please submit your new contact details to Mandatum Life and/or Kaleva by sending us a Message in our Web Service or by calling our Customer Service number.

When calling Mandatum Life's service numbers starting with "0200", the cost for a call from a Finnish landline is the local network fee and from a mobile phone the mobile fee charged by your operator.

When calling Mandatum Life's and Kaleva's service numbers beginning with "010 50", the prices of calls for customers charged by our operator are

  • 0.0828 EUR/call + 0.059 EUR/min from a Finnish landline
  • 0.0828 EUR/call + 0.1704 EUR/min from a mobile phone

When calling from overseas, the price is determined according to the local operator's prices.

Call recording

We record some of our customer calls to ensure and
improve the quality of our Customer Service. We use the recordings
when training staff. Recordings may only be handled by
authorised persons who are bound to confidentiality.

Danske Bank and Mandatum Life have a close cooperation.

You can puchase an Investment Insurance, a capital redemption contract and a Loan Insurance and make changes to your Danske Bank insurance policies in Mandatum Life's Web Service where you can log in from Danske Bank eBanking by choosing "Insurances", or in Danske Bank branches.

Kaleva Mutual Insurance Company

Kaleva is part of the Finnish life insurance operations of the Sampo Group. In co-operation with If P&C Insurance Company, a subsidiary of the Sampo Group, Kaleva specialises in providing group life insurance services to members of trade organisations that are covered by the co-operation agreement concluded between the companies.

In addition, Kaleva manages the pure risk policies and life insurance savings policies taken out before 1997.
